"The Spix's Macaw is 'Extinct in the Wild' with a Brazilian reintroduction program working to bring them back to their home in Curaça, Bahia, Brazil. This painting was commissioned for the Brazilian Ministry of Environment's National Action Plan for the Conservation of the Spix's Macaw, the Ararinha Azul.
